MediGrid Solutions Limited ("MediGrid", "we", "our", or "us"), the operator of the Medilyft service and platform, provides a technology-enabled platform for coordinating ambulance and emergency transport services (the "Services").
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Medilyft mobile application, website, and related Services. By accessing, registering for, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. SCOPE AND APPLICATION
1.1 These Terms apply to all users ("you", "your", "User"), including individuals requesting ambulance or emergency transport coordination, service providers (drivers, vehicle owners, responders), medical partners, and visitors to our digital platforms.
1.2 The Services are currently available primarily in Ekiti State as part of our initial rollout phase.
2. USER ACCOUNTS AND REGISTRATION
2.1 To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information.
2.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.
2.3 You must not use another person's account or provide false information during registration.
3. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
3.1 MediLyft coordinates ambulance and emergency transport services through a technology platform. We do not directly operate vehicles but facilitate connections between requesters and service providers.
3.2 Service availability, dispatch times, and availability of drivers are not guaranteed. We make reasonable efforts to fulfill service requests promptly.
4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 You agree to provide accurate information during service requests.
4.2 You agree not to use our Services for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
4.3 Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their use of the platform.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
5.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, MediGrid and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
5.2 Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months.
6. DISCLAIMERS
6.1 Services are provided on an "AS IS" basis. We make no warranties of merchantability, fitness, or non-infringement.
6.2 We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
7. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MediGrid and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Services.
8. TERMINATION
8.1 MediGrid may terminate or suspend your access immediately for violation of these Terms.
8.2 Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.
9. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria without regard to conflict of law principles.
